It was an absolute pleasure to have Jane redesign my 2-bedroom apartment on the lower north shore. Not only is she extremely professional and courteous but she is also an excellent communicator. Apart from giving her a budget to work with I pretty much left everything in her hands. The resulting transformation was incredible. Jane’s choice of furniture, artwork and accessories were perfect for my space, and I am extremely happy with the result. Of particular note was the transformation she made to my spare bedroom. Before Jane came along it was just that - a very unremarkable ‘spare bedroom’. With a limited budget to work with she managed to transform this room into a very warm, inviting, and trendy space, similar to what you’d expect to find in an upmarket boutique hotel. I cannot recommend Jane highly enough.

We renovated our federation home 15 years ago. We hadn’t thought of employing a designer until we saw what Jane had achieved with a friend’s home. Now, other friends have asked us for Jane’s contact details after seeing her work at our home.
Just recently we decided to have additional decorating work done, albeit on a smaller scale and once again Jane has come up with ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves.
Jane’s skills are multi-faceted but we particularly admire her skill with colour.
Frankly, there is no area of interior design that she does not excel in earning the respect of our builders and making architectural suggestions that really were fantastic. Things that were never thought of by our architect. She is very naturally creative.
She is lovely to work with and quickly interprets your requirements and marries them with your personalities and importantly your budget.

Twenty-three years ago, we approached Jane Thomson to design the renovation of your home in Lilli Pilli which involved a complete colour scheme, a new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, window coverings, soft furnishings etc. We were ecstatic with the results.
She created a stunning overall scheme, which was still functional and comfortable. Our house was transformed into a wonderful family home, which reflected our taste and personalities.
Seventeen years ago, we built a new home in a rural setting and Jane designed the kitchen, she won an MBA award. Bathrooms, the cabinetry, the stunning timber doors with metal stud details, again the results were fantastic.
The house has such a strong identity and a welcoming feel. Jane incorporated and revamped [existing] furniture pieces we treasured into the design scheme, introducing beautiful fabrics and textures. The two-way fireplace constructed firm stone and wood, is truly the hub of the home.
Recently, Jane has renovated the outside areas of our home in Lilli Pilli. This design involved the restructuring of garden beds, suggested planting schemes, lighting schemes and the complete renovation of the pool area.
Once again, the results are stunning.
A contemporary make over with a classic, timeless feel, which creates a wonderful link to the house and invites you to come outside.
Currently Jane is redecorating our home as it was time for an update. The process of combining fabrics, colours and accessories is underway and can’t wait to see the final results.
